In the meantime, start planning your weekend with the event details below. All events are free and require no registration, unless otherwise noted.

​Barn Owl Bakery & Heritage Grains, 108 Grayling Lane

Saturday, 12-2pm

Come to Barn Owl Bakery and learn about our efforts to farm and bake with ancient and heirloom grains. Taste breads and pastries made with our unique varieties of wheat, hear about exciting new plans for the future of grain farming in the islands, and grind your own flour.

Indigo Moon Farm & Fiber, 37 Fisherman Bay Rd Lopez

Sunday, 10am- 3pm

Stop by to meet us and see what we have going on at the farm. The main event will be creating a fresh-leaf indigo dye vat, but there will be plenty of time to tour the farm and commercial kitchen while we wait for the dye to form. Bring a lunch and participate in the full indigo process, drop in any time for a tour, or bring something to put into the dye pot near the end of our scheduled time.

Island Fibers, 4208 Port Stanley Road

Saturday, 11am-3pm

At our working studio we will demonstrate fleece evaluation, spinning, weaving, and dyeing. Fleece, yarn, and handmade textiles for sale.

Lopez Food Share, 1008 Dill Road

Friday 10am- 12pm

You're Invited to Lopez Food Share! We’re opening our doors to the entire Lopez Island community! Come see what we do, meet your neighbors, and learn how we make fresh, nourishing food available to everyone. Whether you're curious, in need, or just want to connect, all are welcome. Let’s share food—and kindness—together.

Lopez Island School LIFE Garden, 86 School Road

Saturday, 10am- 12pm

Stroll through the Lopez Island School LIFE garden, orchards and greenhouses on a guided tour to see what students have been working on this fall. Check out our new Kids Garden Fence, Sophie Citro's senior project, our new Sensory Garden and the harvest bounty from our Production Garden. â€‹â€‹

Midnight's Farm, LLC, 3042 Center Road

Saturday, 3:30-5pm 

Take a guided tour of Midnight’s Farm and explore the compost facility and market garden. Learn about our management based on values of stewardship and community.

Saturday, 5:30pm

Burgers, Beer & Agritastic Trivia! Josh Ratza of Setsunai/The Galley will be serving the famous Galley burger made with local wheat buns and Midnight’s Farm beef and a seasonal side. Beer from Lopez Island Brewery will be available for sale.  Proceeds support the FARM Fund. Test your ag knowledge in Agritastic Trivia and win prizes! $25 for dinner - cash or check only at door. First come first serve.

Demonstration of farm produced foods and snacks for sale ($5/person)​​

Taproot Community Kitchen, 1008 Dill Road​

Friday, 11am- 3pm

​Come visit Taproot's shared-use commercial kitchen where we help small food businesses create marketable products. We'll showcase our new cook room and preservation equipment for dehydration, freeze drying, and more. Sample our commercial vendors' delicious products and locally grown fruit bounty -- preserved many ways.

Watmough Bay Farm, 121 Watmough Head Road

Friday, 10am​​​

Come for a farm tour and learn about our farming practices. We'll tour the gardens, see how we raise our chickens for eggs and meat. We'll also check out the pigs. â€‹
