Plan Your Visit
About
The Farm Tours of the San Juans began in YEAR by a group of farmers who wanted to highlight their work. Volunteer run for many years, eventually the planning process was passed off to the San Juan Islands Conservation District who was able to leverage San Juan County Lodging Tax and sponsor funding to support planning, marketing and support for our busy farmers. The goal of farm tours is to elevate our incredible agricultural team, encourage economic growth at their farm stands, etc... Less than 5% of food sold in the san juans is grown locally
The planning team is now made up by:
Ferries, Transportation, and Lodging
The Visitor's Bureau has excellent resources we encourage all Farm Tours attendees who are traveling from off-island to check out. Farms are located across the islands and we would recommend carpooling or biking. Parking can be limited at active farms. Staying on San Juan Island? Our friends at Earthbox Inn are sponsoring this event!
Where to Eat
There are so many farm-to-table restaurants, cafes, and bakeries who can complete your Farm Tours weekend experience. Here are some of the ones we know about:
